The Zillertal Arena is a 144-kilometer ski area in the Zillertal valley in Tyrol, connecting four villages: Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Krimml-Wald, and Königsleiten. The highest point is 2,500 meters and the area is well-suited to intermediate skiers wanting variety across a large connected network. Day passes run approximately EUR 50-60; multi-day passes are better value. Zell am Ziller is reached by the Zillertalbahn narrow-gauge railway from Jenbach, which is on the main Innsbruck-Salzburg line, making this one of the more public-transport-accessible ski areas in Tyrol.
