Delete in the app
- Open Roam Austria and go to Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Retype your account email address to confirm.
The app needs an internet connection to complete the request. It then signs the deleted account out on that device.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] from the address used for the account. Use the subject Delete my Roam Austria account and say clearly that the request concerns Roam Austria. We may need to verify that you control the account before completing the request.
What is deleted
Deletion removes your Roam Austria membership, active sessions, magic-link tokens, push registrations, synced saved places, collections and trips, and signed-in support messages from the backend. Support-action records may remain for security and aggregate operational purposes only after the link to your user account has been removed.
What happens if you also use Introducing Salzburg
The same email address may be used in both apps, but the memberships and private records are separated by app. Deleting Roam Austria does not delete your Introducing Salzburg account, sessions, consent or saved data. If no other app membership remains, the shared identity row enters a 30-day deletion period and is then permanently removed by scheduled cleanup.
Data stored on your device
Deleting the server account does not uninstall the app. Downloaded travel content and local settings may remain on the device. To remove them as well, clear Roam Austria's app storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
