2. Travel information
Roam Austria is an independent editorial travel guide. We work carefully, but opening hours, prices, transport, access rules, weather conditions and other practical details can change. Check time-sensitive information with the relevant operator before relying on it. Nothing in the service is professional legal, medical, safety or financial advice.
3. App accounts
You may use the app without an account for browsing content. An account is optional and lets you sync saves, collections and trips. Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for controlling access to that mailbox and for using the service lawfully.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass access controls, automate abusive requests, upload unlawful material, or use another person's account without permission. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or third parties.
5. Offline content and availability
The app can retain travel content on your device for offline use. Cached information may become outdated. We may correct, replace or withdraw content and cannot promise uninterrupted availability of the website, API, maps, email delivery or third-party services.
6. Third-party services and links
The service may link to maps, transport providers, attractions, booking partners and other third parties. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or editorial mention does not make us responsible for a third party's service, availability or content.
7. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, photographs, design and software made available through Roam Austria are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Personal, non-commercial use of the service is permitted. Reproduction, republication, scraping for redistribution, or commercial reuse requires prior written permission or another valid legal basis.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your Roam Austria account in the app or request deletion through our public Account Deletion page. Deletion is scoped to Roam Austria and does not delete a separate Introducing Salzburg membership using the same email address.
9. Liability and consumer rights
We are liable where liability is required by law, including for intent, gross negligence, personal injury and mandatory consumer-protection rights. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Within those limits, use of free editorial information and route suggestions remains at your own judgment and risk.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page. Austrian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection available under the law of their country of residence.
