The Wildwasserarena Mölltal at Flattach is a whitewater sports center on the glacier-fed Möll river in the Carinthian Mölltal, with guided rafting and kayaking on one of the more technically challenging alpine rivers in the eastern Alps. The Möll drains the Großglockner massif, giving it consistent high-summer flow from glacial melt. Flattach is approximately 40 km south of Lienz; car required. Seasonal summer operation; book activities in advance through flattach.at. Late June to July is highest flow; September is lower and more controlled. Combine with the Großglockner Hochalpenstrasse for a full Hohe Tauern day.
