The pilgrimage church of St. Leonhard in Tamsweg, Lungau, is a Gothic church from 1433 known for its 15th-century stained glass. The golden window, densely worked and glowing orange-gold in morning light, is one of the most significant medieval glass panels in the Salzburg region. Tamsweg is the main town of the Lungau, the isolated high-alpine valley in southern Salzburg state; about 90 minutes from Salzburg by road. Free entry.
