The Visnitz Wasserfall is a waterfall above Ischgl in the Paznaun valley, fed by snowmelt from the Silvretta alpine group. Ischgl is famous as a ski resort; the summer valley is much quieter and less developed for tourism. Best flow in June-July. Free access; approach on hiking trails from Ischgl village. Combine with hiking in the Silvretta terrain above.

Ischgl is known almost entirely as a ski resort, but the valley in summer has waterfalls, Alpine meadows, and hiking terrain that most visitors never see because the season is so dominated by winter sports marketing.
