Ischgl is Austria’s most commercially ambitious ski resort: 239 kilometers of connected piste in the Silvretta Arena, cross-border access to duty-free Samnaun in Switzerland, premium hotel and aprés-ski infrastructure, and end-of-season concerts that have attracted international artists since the 1990s. The resort’s altitude (lift-served terrain above 2,000 meters) means one of the longest reliable snow seasons in the Alps. The ski quality is genuine and at the level the pricing suggests.
