The Via Artis is an outdoor sculpture trail along the Grundlsee shoreline in the Styrian Salzkammergut, combining contemporary art installations with the standard lake walk circuit. The Grundlsee is Styria’s largest lake and a quieter alternative to the more visited Upper Austrian Salzkammergut lakes. The trail takes 2-3 hours and connects toward the Toplitzsee boat connection at the eastern shore. Free; accessible from Grundlsee village on the western shore. Bus connections from Bad Aussee.
