Taborhoehe is a hillside viewpoint above the Faaker See in Carinthia, with elevated views over the lake and the Karawanken mountains on the Slovenian border. The walk up from Faak am See village takes about 45 minutes each way. Free access at all times; no facilities at the viewpoint. The Faaker See itself is a quieter alternative to the larger Carinthian lakes, with good swimming and less resort development. Combine a Taborhoehe walk with a swim in the lake for a half-day excursion from Villach (about 12 km away).
