Swarovski Crystal Worlds

Also known as Swarovski Kristallwelten

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, 15 km east of Innsbruck, is one of Austria's most visited attractions by ticket count, which tells you something about the scale of the operation and something about the power of branded experience tourism.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds at Kristallweltenstrasse 1 in Wattens, 15 km east of Innsbruck, was built in 1995 for the company centenary of Daniel Swarovski’s crystal-cutting business. The 18 underground Chambers of Wonder, each by a different artist, surround the Giant, a 14-meter grass-covered face with a waterfall mouth at the entrance. The outdoor park and Crystal Cloud installation are free to enter; the underground chambers require a ticket (approximately EUR 21-25 adults). Open daily 9:00-19:00; check kristallwelten.swarovski.com. Shuttle bus from Innsbruck tourist office (Burggraben) runs in season. Allow 2-3 hours.
