Straza Hill

Also known as Straža

Straza is the wooded hill that rises directly above Lake Bled's southern shore, giving the lake, the island church, and the Julian Alps their most-photographed arrangement. A chairlift climbs the hill, making the panoramic view accessible without a significant hike, and a summer toboggan run descends through the forest for the ride back down.

Straza hill above Lake Bled’s south shore gives the most-photographed view of the lake, island church, and Julian Alps, reached by a short chairlift ride without a serious hike. A summer toboggan run descends through the forest; combo ticket around EUR 10-15. Chairlift base is walkable from central Bled. Seasonal May-October; check straza-bled.si for current hours. Morning visits have the clearest alpine views.
