The Stiftskirche on Stiftsplatz in Hall in Tirol is a Renaissance collegiate church built in 1567 for the Damenstift, a noble women’s convent founded by Archduchess Magdalena of Austria as a residence for Habsburg noblewomen. The church and adjoining convent buildings form the architectural center of Hall’s old town, one of the best-preserved medieval town centers in Tyrol. Hall is 10 km east of Innsbruck, 30 minutes by bus. Free to visit; open during daylight hours.
