Radstadt has one of the best-preserved medieval town wall circuits in Salzburg Province, with three named towers still standing: the Hexenturm, Kapuzinerturm, and Teichturm. The walls date from the late 13th century when Radstadt was a trading town on the Tauern pass route. The exterior is freely accessible at any time; a walking circuit takes 20-30 minutes. Worth the stop if you are passing through the Enns Valley corridor on the way to Schladming or further south.
