Salzofenhöhle

The Salzofenhöhle is a cave in the Totes Gebirge (Dead Mountains) above Grundlsee with documented Stone Age occupation. The Totes Gebirge is the large limestone plateau that forms the eastern edge of the Salzkammergut, and the caves within it preserve both geological formations and archaeological evidence of prehistoric use.
