Gmunden’s Renaissance town hall stands on the lakefront Rathausplatz, covered in the town’s signature green-and-white Gmundner Keramik ceramic tiles. A ceramic carillon plays three times daily at 8:00, 12:00, and 18:00. The building marks the start of the Esplanade along the Traunsee and is the most photographed landmark in Gmunden. Free to view from the outside; 10 minutes on foot from the train station.
