The Pinzga-Loipe is the cross-country ski trail network of the Pinzgau valley in Salzburg province, centered on Mittersill and connecting through the Salzach valley system with reliable snow from December to March. The flat valley floor and gentle side slopes suit classic cross-country style. Trail pass approximately EUR 10-15 per day. Access by Pinzgauer Lokalbahn narrow-gauge railway from Zell am See, which is 1.5 hours from Salzburg by main line train.
