Pfarrkirche Lofer

Lofer’s parish church has Gothic origins from the 15th century with Baroque interior remodeling, a layering typical of Austrian village churches in the Salzburg region. Lofer sits at the western edge of the Salzburger Land where the Saalachtal valley connects toward the Tyrol, and the church anchors the village center between the Loferer Steinberge mountains.
