The Osttirodler is a summer alpine coaster on the Hochstein (2,053m) above Lienz in East Tyrol, accessible via the Hochstein gondola. Seasonal operation; check current hours and prices at the lift station. About 2.5 hours from Innsbruck by train. The Hochstein summit gives views over the Lienzer Dolomites and toward Italy (35 km south). Lienz is Austria’s southernmost significant town and capital of geographically isolated East Tyrol.

Osttirodler
The Osttirodler is a summer alpine coaster (Sommerrodelbahn) on the Hochstein above Lienz, giving East Tyrol's main town a gravity-powered summer activity at a mountain that also runs downhill skiing in winter and hiking trails year-round. The coaster uses the ski slope infrastructure to operate between the gondola station and the valley.
