The Oetztaler Gletscherstrasse is a private toll road above Solden that climbs from the valley floor to over 2,800 meters at the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers, supporting Austria’s largest year-round glacier ski area. The drive covers multiple alpine zones in under 30 minutes. The upper area also includes the Gaislachkogel cable car and the former James Bond filming location (the Ice Q / James Bond Cube).
