Nebotičnik Skyscraper

Also known as Nebotičnik

The Nebotičnik (meaning "skyscraper" in Slovenian) was completed in 1933 and at 70 meters was the tallest building in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia at the time of its completion. It stands on Štefanova ulica in the center of Ljubljana, its Art Deco tower visible across the city.

The Nebotičnik (1933) was Yugoslavia’s tallest building at completion, an Art Deco tower in central Ljubljana with a rooftop cafe and viewing terrace on the 13th floor. The view across Ljubljana to the castle hill and the Julian Alps is one of the best in the city. Check neboticnik.si for opening hours and reservations. 10-15 minutes on foot from Ljubljana station. Best at dusk.
