The Nationalparkzentrum Mallnitz is the Hohe Tauern National Park visitor center for the Carinthia section, in Mallnitz at the south end of the Tauern railway tunnel. Check hohetauern.at for hours and admission. Mallnitz is accessible by car from Obervellach or by car-loading train through the Tauern tunnel from Spittal an der Drau. Gateway to the Ankogel area and Seebachtal valley hiking.
