Bus 38A from Heiligenstadt U4, final stop. Less crowded than neighboring Kahlenberg; the medieval ruins add what Kahlenberg lacks. The hill’s Baroque church was built in 1679 after the Ottomans destroyed the castle in 1529. Free, always accessible.

Leopoldsberg
The northernmost point of the Vienna Woods overlooking the Danube bend, with a baroque church dedicated to Saint Leopold and ruins of a medieval fortress.
