A via ferrata (Klettersteig in German: a route on steep rock equipped with fixed steel cables, iron rungs, and ladders, allowing climbers to ascend terrain that would otherwise require technical rock climbing skills) on the Ballunspitze above Gaschurn in the Montafon valley.

The Klettersteig Ballunspitze is a via ferrata (fixed-cable route on steep rock) above Gaschurn at the upper end of the Montafon valley in Vorarlberg, giving access to views over the Silvretta reservoir and the surrounding ranges. Free access; via ferrata equipment (harness and lanyard) required. Gaschurn is accessible by train to Schruns then bus. Combine with the Klettergarten Rifa sport climbing area in the same valley for a full climbing day.
