Johanneswasserfall
The Johanneswasserfall drops 60 meters near Obertauern in Salzburg Province and has been a protected natural monument since 1931, one of the earliest formal nature protections in Austria. The Obertauern pass road runs at around 1,740 meters; the waterfall sits in the surrounding alpine terrain, accessible on foot from the village.
