The Innergschloess is a high valley in Austria’s largest national park, the Hohe Tauern, running from Matrei in Osttirol deep into the Venediger glacier group. It offers one of the most accessible non-mountaineering routes to a glaciated landscape in the Eastern Alps. Half to full day walk from the Matreier Tauernhaus trailhead; free entry. Innergschloess
The Innergschloess is a high valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park, reached from the Matreier Tauernhaus in East Tyrol, running deep into the glaciated interior of the Venediger group.
