The Idalp at 2,320 meters is the high-altitude hub of Ischgl’s Silvretta Arena ski area, reached by gondola from the village and serving as the junction for runs that cross into Samnaun, Switzerland. The combined area covers 239 km of marked runs. Lift passes start around EUR 60-70 per day; winter season runs December to late April. Summer gondola access opens the plateau for hiking. Ischgl is in the Paznaun valley, 30 km by road from Landeck (the nearest rail connection). The Silvretta cross-border ski loop via Samnaun is the signature experience of the area.
