The Hofpurglhutte is an Austrian Alpine Club hut below the twin-pinnacled Bischofsmutze summit in the Gosaukamm range above Filzmoos. A 2-3 hour round trip hike from Filzmoos village; the hut serves as the staging point for the Bischofsmutze summit climb (technical, not for regular hikers) and as a mountain lunch stop with views of one of the most recognizable summit profiles in the Salzburg Alps.
