The Hochjochbahn is the main cable car above Schruns in the Montafon valley, lifting from 700m to the Silvretta Montafon ski area at around 2,000m. Check silvretta-montafon.at for hours and prices. Schruns is accessible by Montafonerbahn narrow-gauge railway from Bludenz (30 minutes). Hemingway finished “The Sun Also Rises” here in the winter of 1925-26. Combine with the Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse drive in summer.
