The Herzsee is a small glacial lake in the upper Kleinwalsertal, an Austrian valley accessible only from Oberstdorf in Germany. Part of the valley’s summer hiking network between the valley floor and the Allgauer ridge. Always accessible, free. Reached on foot from the valley; best combined with a longer ridge hike toward the Hahnenkoepfle or Hoher Ifen summits.
