The Hannoverhaus is an Austrian Alpine Club hut at 2,566 meters in the Hohe Tauern above Mallnitz, built in 1894 and named for the German Alpine Club section from Hanover that funded its construction.

Base for the Ankogel and Hochalmspitze summits. Staffed mid-June to late September; overnight approximately EUR 25-35 for Alpine Club members. Book well ahead for summer. From Mallnitz by marked trail (3-4 hours); Mallnitz is reached by the Tauern car train from Badgastein or by road from Spittal an der Drau. Check alpenverein.at for current season and prices.
