Gramaialm

The Gramaialm above Pertisau on the Achensee is a working mountain farm with a Gasthaus, documented since the 16th century and still operating within the traditional Tyrolean alp farming cycle. The 1 to 1.5 hour ascent from Pertisau provides the elevated view over Tyrol’s largest lake, framed by the Karwendel and Rofan ranges. Fresh dairy products from the herd are the thing to order. Pertisau is accessible by Achensee ferry or by car from Jenbach on the main Innsbruck to Salzburg rail line.
