The Fischerbrunnen is a 1675 Baroque fountain on the Stadtplatz in Braunau am Inn, the Upper Austrian border town on the Inn river. The fountain is a secondary stop on a walk through one of Upper Austria’s wider medieval market squares. Free and always accessible. Braunau am Inn is 80 km north of Salzburg, accessible by bus. The town’s Stadtplatz architecture is the main draw; note that Braunau is known internationally as Hitler’s birthplace.
