The Filbling is a 1,307-meter summit above Fuschl am See with panoramic views over the Fuschlsee and the surrounding Salzkammergut hills. A 3 to 4 hour return hike from the village; no infrastructure at the summit. Free access; open year-round, best June to October. Fuschl am See is 25 km east of Salzburg by car or bus. Combine with a stop at the Filblingsee hidden mountain lake on the ascent route.

Filbling
The Filbling is a 1,307-meter summit south of the Fuschlsee in the Salzkammergut that gives panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding hills toward the Schafberg and the Wolfgangsee.
