The Dachstein Sky Walk is a glass-floored viewing platform at 2,700 meters at the upper station of the Dachstein Gletscherbahn, extending over a 250-meter drop above the Dachstein glacier. It opened in 2012 as part of the Ramsau glacier visitor cluster, which also includes the Hängebrücke (suspension bridge) and the Eispalast (Ice Palace inside the glacier). On a clear day, the views across the Eastern Alps and down into Styria are exceptional. The glacier below is retreating year by year. Access by cable car from Ramsau am Dachstein; Ramsau is 10 km from Schladming. Bring warm layers: the upper station runs 10-15°C colder than the valley.

It is the least dramatic of the three altitude experiences at this station, if "least dramatic" can mean standing on glass above a glacier.
