The original stage machinery, including the hydraulic systems that could create wave effects and flying apparitions, still works. The painted wing sets, the costumes, and the lighting system are all original.

The Baroque theater inside Cesky Krumlov Castle dates to 1682 and is one of the most completely preserved examples of 17th-century theatrical architecture in the world.
