The Alberfeldkogel above Ebensee is a half-day hike to a summit viewpoint at around 1,480 meters with panoramic views across the Salzkammergut, including the Traunsee and the surrounding limestone ranges. No infrastructure at the top; free access. Ebensee is reachable by train from Salzburg in about 1.5 hours. Combine with the Traunsee and Bad Ischl.

Alberfeldkogel
