The Widderstein at 2,533 meters is the highest peak immediately above the Warth-Schrocken skiing area, and one of the classic single-day summit hikes from the Bregenzerwald.

The Widderstein (2,533 m) is the highest peak immediately above Warth-Schrocken and the summit hike of the Bregenzerwald end of the Arlberg. The ascent from Schrocken takes 3-4 hours on a marked trail; the summit panorama covers the Arlberg, Allgau Alps, and Silvretta range. No cable car; this is a proper half-day alpine hike. Best July to October. Warth is served by bus from Langen am Arlberg train station.
