The Top of Tyrol platform at 3,210 meters on the Stubai Glacier gives panoramic views over the Tyrolean Alps from one of the highest accessible points in Austria. Getting there requires the Stubai Glacier gondola from Mutterbergalm, about 40 minutes south of Innsbruck. The glacier area operates year-round: ski season in winter and autumn, hiking and glacier viewing in summer. At 3,210 meters, temperatures are cold year-round; bring layers regardless of the valley weather. A day ticket runs roughly €40–50. The view from the platform is worth the trip even without skiing.
