The largest glacier ski area in Austria, with the Top of Tyrol viewing platform at 3,210 meters on the Schaufelspitze. Year-round snow (October to June for skiing). The 3S Eisgratbahn is one of the most modern glacier cable cars in the Alps. The platform gives a 360-degree panorama of over 100 peaks.

The Stubaier Gletscher above the Stubai Valley is Austria’s largest glacier ski area, with skiing from October to June and summer access to the Top of Tyrol viewing platform at 3,210 meters. The 3S Eisgratbahn cable car from the valley station reaches 3,018 meters in under 10 minutes. Day ski passes run approximately EUR 50-60. From Innsbruck, Bus 590 reaches the valley station in about 40 minutes. The summer viewing season runs June-October; check stubaier-gletscher.com for current conditions before going up.
