The St. Georgs-Kathedrale inside the Theresianische Militärakademie in Wiener Neustadt contains the burial of Emperor Maximilian I (d. 1519), one of the most consequential early Habsburgs. The cathedral was built between 1440 and 1460 under Friedrich III, whose son Maximilian was born and baptized here.
