The Slow Trail Millstätter See follows the south shore of the Millstätter See in Carinthia from Döbriach west toward Seeboden, through forest and lakeshore terrain less developed than the Millstatt town side. Free walking trail; no facilities required. The Millstätter See is one of Austria’s deepest lakes (142 m) with excellent water quality for swimming en route. Start from Döbriach or Seeboden; by car from Spittal an der Drau. Full south shore takes a full day; sections walkable in half a day.
