Slow Trail Millstaetter See

Also known as Slow Trail Millstätter See

The Slow Trail Millstätter See is a marked hiking and walking path along the south shore of the Millstätter See in Carinthia, designed to move at a pace that allows full attention to the lakeside landscape rather than covering distance.

The Slow Trail Millstätter See follows the south shore of the Millstätter See in Carinthia from Döbriach west toward Seeboden, through forest and lakeshore terrain less developed than the Millstatt town side. Free walking trail; no facilities required. The Millstätter See is one of Austria’s deepest lakes (142 m) with excellent water quality for swimming en route. Start from Döbriach or Seeboden; by car from Spittal an der Drau. Full south shore takes a full day; sections walkable in half a day.
