Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschoenau is a 109-kilometer ski area formed in 2012 by linking two Tyrolean valleys. Alpbach, repeatedly voted Europe’s most beautiful village, is the scenic base; Wildschoenau’s plateau offers the broadest terrain. Intermediate skiers get the best of the area: long groomed runs without the crowds of the Arlberg or Kitzbuehel. Day pass approximately EUR 50-60; check skijuwel.com for current prices and season dates. From Brixlegg train station by shuttle bus; Brixlegg is on the main Innsbruck-Kufstein line.

Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau
The Ski Juwel connected the Alpbachtal and Wildschoenau ski areas in 2012, creating a 109-kilometer network above two of Tyrol's quieter valleys. Alpbach has been voted Europe's most beautiful village multiple times, which gives the ski area a visual backdrop that purely technical resorts lack.
