The Schlossbergrutsche is a 55-meter tube slide built inside the WWII tunnel network beneath Graz’s Schlossberg and opened in 2019. For EUR 1, you descend from the summit park to street level in about 40 seconds through a stainless steel tube inside a wartime tunnel. The tunnels were originally dug by forced labor as air-raid shelters in 1943-1944 and are now used for cultural events and this slide. Enter from the summit park and follow signs. Open daily during park hours. It is genuinely fun and costs next to nothing.
