Schloss Moosham near Tamsweg in the Lungau is a 1191 medieval castle in private ownership by the Liechtenstein family, offering guided tours May to October. The castle retains original interiors with hunting trophies and historical artifacts. Connected in local memory to the severe Lungau witch trials of the 1670s-1680s, conducted under Salzburg archiepiscopal authority. Tours approximately EUR 10-15; check schlossmoosham.at for schedule.
