Schloss Kammer on the Attersee’s western shore is best known as the subject of multiple Gustav Klimt paintings from his Attersee summers (1900-1916). The castle is a private residence not open to visitors; the view from the lakeshore path is freely accessible. The Klimt Trail along the Attersee connects sites where Klimt worked.
