The Rauriser UrQuell is a natural spring in the Rauris valley, part of the Hohe Tauern National Park landscape. The valley itself is the draw: it was a medieval gold mining centre and retains a historic 16th-century market town character alongside the natural features. Freely accessible; combine with the Rauriser Talmuseum in the village and the old-growth Rauriser Urwald forest for a full valley day. Accessible by car from Zell am See (30 km).
