The Primatial Palace on Primacialne namestie is Bratislava’s finest neoclassical building, completed in 1781 for the Hungarian Roman Catholic Primate. In December 1805, three weeks after Austerlitz, Napoleon and Austrian Emperor Francis II signed the Peace of Pressburg in the Hall of Mirrors, transferring Venetia, Tyrol, and other Habsburg territories. A series of rare 17th-century English tapestries was found hidden in a wall during 20th-century renovations. Adults approximately EUR 3.
