The Ostuferwanderweg is a 6 km trail along the east shore of the Hallstätter See from Obertraun to Hallstatt, taking approximately 1.5-2 hours. Free; no booking required. The trail passes the viewpoint used for the classic Hallstatt reflection photograph. Start from Obertraun (train station on the Salzkammergut railway); return to Obertraun by ferry from Hallstatt village.
