The Ossiacher See Schifffahrt runs a seasonal boat circuit on Carinthia’s third-largest lake (10.8 km long), between May and September. The lake reaches 24°C in August. Embarkation at Ossiach village and multiple shoreline stops; about 10 km east of Villach. Stift Ossiach, an 11th-century Benedictine monastery at the lake shore, hosts the Carinthian Summer music festival in July. Significantly less crowded than the nearby Wörthersee.

The Ossiacher See is Carinthia's third-largest lake, and the boat service (Schifffahrt) that runs it in summer is the quiet version of the busier Wörthersee boat circuit twenty kilometres to the east. The lake reaches 24°C in August and sits at 501 metres altitude below the Gerlitzen massif.
