The OK Center for Contemporary Art in Linz occupies a former Ursuline convent on OK-Platz, a few minutes from the Ars Electronica Center. The program focuses on immersive installations, media art, and experimental contemporary work. The rooftop terrace (Hoehe 3) runs the Sinnesrausch summer exhibition (May to September) with large-scale art installations and views over the Danube. The OK Center is part of Linz’s deliberate post-industrial cultural reinvention, which began with the Ars Electronica festival in 1979 and expanded through the European Capital of Culture year in 2009. Adults EUR 6. Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-18:00. Walking distance from the Hauptplatz.
